Thor Specialities is a multinational manufacturer of chemical products with their Headquarters located in the UK. Halliday Meecham Architects have worked with the Thor on a range of projects including the relocation of the organisation and its production facilities from South Manchester onto a former salt works in Northwich, adjacent to the Trent and Mersey Canal. The new facility provides a landmark regional headquarters together with research laboratories, production halls and warehousing.
Thor are continually growing and HMA have worked with the client to develop a range of additional facilities including spaces for new process plant and production, together with storage and welfare accommodation for the team.
