Halliday Meecham Architects worked with the City of Wolverhampton Council in the redevelopment of the Wolverhampton Wholesale Market Site as part of a major regeneration of the City.
The project provides a new Wholesale Market for traders to purchase stock together and collaborate within an enclosed market hall. A second building houses the City Councils Fleet Workshop where vehicles are maintained and charged, supporting Wolverhampton’s transition to an all-electric fleet.
The project required rigorous engagement with multiple stakeholders to define and develop the brief with HMA leading a design team in the provision of Architect and Principal Designer Services through RIBA Stages 1-7, working in collaboration with a consultant team.
